Here are some pics of Eli and Aaron after Aaron gets home from school. There's usually some hugs and kisses, followed by a little wrestling. You should hear Eli squealing when he sees Aaron getting dropped off. I love this whole brother thing. Aaron's had a little bit of a hard time with Eli since he was born. He was not so sure about Eli, and really, I think he was not so sure how he fit in with Eli around. We have been talking alot with Aaron about his role as a big brother and how God had a purpose in mind when he created Aaron to be the older brother (not his only purpose, just one of many). God knew Eli would need a brother to look out for him and teach him. Aaron has been stepping up to the role! Last night Aaron went with his Dad to put Eli in the nursery at church, and Eli had a real hard time. Aaron heard him cry and told his daddy that he wanted to stay. There was no class for kids last night, so kevin let him go back in and he heard Eli immediately quiet down. The nursery worker told Kevin later that Eli did fine once Aaron came back in and soothed Eli by playing with him. She said he really took care of him. "How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!" Psalm 133:1

This doesn't really have anything to do with your latest post, but I'm going to write it anyways. Kyle Lewis, one of my closest friends growing up and to this day, wrote me a message about his mom's latest condition and struggle with brain tumors. She had one a while back that they removed and she was thought to be on the path to recovery. Recently they discovered two more which are in the "growth stage". He said he doesn't think his mom realizes there are no other medical options to help her condition. I haven't cried in a long time but I did today, even though I haven't seen Mrs. Lewis in quite a while.
Anyone who reads this, remember Mrs. Lewis in your prayers. I can't imagine going through what their family is going through.

Sweet brothers! You guys are doing such a good job of giving Aaron a special role so he's not just the "middle kangaroo". He's going to be a great protective brother for Eli and Alexis. And I never realized until the 4th picture of Aaron how much he looks exactly like you!
I love that post and I love the pictures! Just precious!
What awesome boys! They will bring you much joy! I lived the two boy thing and it is a pretty wonderful thing!
Love, Mama Fran
There's a special place in my heart for each one of your kiddos...but that Aaron...I've always been smitten :) What a sweet sweet brother.
Love,
Katie
PS: Ryan I'm keeping your friend's mom in my prayers.
